Reinwood Story

There is a place where the world slows down.

Where the noise quiets.
Where the ground steadies beneath you.
Where horses move without words ― and teach without force.

This is Reinwood.

A place to return to yourself.
To remember what strength feels like when it isn't loud.
To hold the reins ― not to control ― but to connect.

Here, we believe stillness is not the absence of movement.
It's the presence of peace.

The land knows how to hold you.
The horses know how to meet you.
And you just ― as you are ― are enough to begin.

Reinwood is not about escape.
It's about return.

To your body.
To your breath.
To the truth that was waiting here all along.

Welcome home.
There's a reason people are drawn to the desert.

It's not just the silence ― it's the clarity.
The space
The sense that beneath the dust and heat, something sacred is waiting.
At Reinwood, we believe healing begins in places like this ― where wildness and stillness live side by side.
Where horses carry no judgment.

Only presence.

Meet the Founders

Waynard Schmidt

Founded by Waynard Schmidt, Reinwood was born from a deep and personal understanding of the healing power of horses ― and the land that holds them.
Waynard's passion for horses runs deep, shaped by years of working with them in the remote beauty of the high desert. He built Reinwood not as a business, but as an offering ― a place for others to find what he found: peace, grounding, and truth.

It's not a program

Reinwood is not a clinic

It's not about fixing

It's About Remembering

Here, under open skies and alongside horses who mirror without speaking, people return to parts of themselves they thought were lost.
They slow down.
They find the strength in stillness.
They begin again ― not as someone new, but as someone whole.

This is Reinwood

We're not here to save you

We're here to walk with you ― as the land steadies you, the horse meets you, and your own truth rises quietly to meet the moment.
